Preparation is Key

I always talk to my clients about prepping and planning - not just food though. A little time put aside to prep and plan your week can be priceless. Being organised will always help your week run smoothly.

Here are my fave tips for prepping and planning your week:⁣

πŸ₯¬ Wash and prep your fresh salad ingredients and have them stored ready to use when you need them. If you have fresh food ready it’s easy to avoid reaching for a less nutritious snack. Add protein/dressings as you need (pre-make if possible) πŸ₯°β£
Do a supermarket shop to make sure you have everything you need.

πŸ“” Look your week ahead and mentally prepare yourself for work deadlines, kids school requirements and anything else that is scheduled and needs preparing for.⁣

πŸ€ΈπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Block out time for exercise, taking into account how much time you have after exercise before you need to be ready for anything - nothing crushes an endorphin high from a great workout more than getting home to find yourself rushed to get ready for work/school - and you end up completely frazzled πŸ€ͺ⁣⁣

🧺 Take stock of your laundry situation. Is your laundry up to date? Make sure the washing and drying is up to date and all clothes put away. No explanation needed!⁣⁣

πŸ”‘ Lastly, give your house a once over for a fresh start to the week. A clean and tidy house will help you with a clear mindset.

All of this will not take much time at all, but will help in achieving a smooth and productive week ahead.⁣⁣

Above all, enjoy a restful day filled with everything you love spending time doing, and have a great sleep to top it off.⁣⁣
