NTA Australia/New Zealand
To reverse the epidemic of preventable poor health by educating and empowering wellness champions in every community.
Our Mission.
A Whole Human Perspective.
Our philosophy is that we are destined to discover how powerful we truly are! It is our birthright.
That within each and every one of us is an amazing self healing mechanism that just needs the right tools to restore health.
The FNTP journey is one of awakening and awareness to the impacts of our modern world and how through ancient wisdom and clinical experience we can return ourselves and our clients to wholeness, at all levels of mind, body and spirit.
Our Vision.
To lead a wellness revolution that creates an alternative system of care, prioritising people over profit with a network of professionals who provide knowledge, resources, and support necessary to reclaim health.
Our Values
The NTA was incorporated as a vocational nutrition school in 1997 by Gray and Joy Graham with the primary goal of training healthcare practitioners in the practice of Nutritional Therapy. Addressing nutrition from a holistic perspective and reconnecting people to whole foods and vibrant health, the NTA is founded on the powerful connection that exists between the nutrients we receive from our food and the function and health of our bodies.
In the early years, the NTA’s instructor team taught nutritional seminars to thousands of medical practitioners throughout the United States and Europe. Students included medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and naturopaths.
The NTA was encouraged to make this unique nutritional training available to a wider audience, and today has trained more than 8,400 Nutritional Therapy Practitioners from all over the world.
NTA USA continues to expanding its educational offerings to train practitioners dedicated to making a positive impact on others' health journeys.

Nutritional Therapy Association AU/NZ
NTA Australia/New Zealand is the sister organisation to NTA USA and it’s position in the nutrition training sector, is the legacy of Leanne Scott, Program Director & Lead Instructor.
As Leanne explains, it was the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) which truly unraveled the science of nutrition and human physiology and the under workings of dysfunction as a result of the modern western diet. Based on the teachings of Dr. Weston A. Price, Dr. Francis Pottenger and a philosophy based on Ancestral Health, it was such a profound experience for her, that thanks to Nora Gedgaudas’ guidance and inspiration, she committed to bringing the program to Australia.
In March of 2015, we launched our first inaugural class, bringing a new paradigm of Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioners to Australia.

NTA Philosophy
At NTA AU/NZ, we believe that discovering our true potential is our birthright. Within each of us lies a powerful self-healing mechanism, ready to be activated with the right tools to restore health.
We recognize that many health challenges in modern society arise from weakened physiological foundations due to poor nutrition. As an educational organization, we are dedicated to helping healthcare professionals and individuals understand and reverse the often unnoticed effects of contemporary diets on themselves and their families.
Our whole-istic approach emphasizes the importance of properly prepared, nutrient-dense whole foods, combined with a well-balanced lifestyle. Through our instructor led teachings, students gain access to a diverse array of educational tools and techniques that promote awareness of nutritional imbalances and facilitate their correction.
The journey through our Functional Nutritional Therapy Training program is one of awakening—an exploration of how the modern world impacts our health and how we can draw from ancient wisdom and clinical experience to achieve wholeness at every level: mind, body and spirit.
Together, we're bringing healthy back.
