About the Speakers
Dr. Tom O'Bryan
DC, DACBN, CIFM
Dr. Tom is the founder of theDr and the visionary behind ‘The Gluten Summit – A Grain of Truth’, one of the first online summits, that brought together 29 of the world’s experts on the Gluten connection to diseases, disorders, and a wide-range of symptoms and ages.
His 2016 critically acclaimed ground-breaking book, ‘The Autoimmune Fix’ outlines the step-by-step development of degenerative diseases and gives us the tools to identify a dis-ease process years before the symptoms are obvious.
Dr. O’Bryan is considered the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ for chronic disease and metabolic disorders. He is a clinician par excellence in treating chronic disease and metabolic disorders from a Functional Medicine Perspective.
He holds teaching Faculty positions with the Institute for Functional Medicine and the National University of Health Sciences, and is a member of the NTA AU/NZ Medical Advisory Board. He has trained and certified tens of thousands of practitioners around the world in advanced understanding of the impact of wheat sensitivity and the development of individual autoimmune diseases.
Dr. Sanjee Xavier

Dr. Sanjee Xavier is an Australian-based General Practitioner with extensive experience across addiction, mental health, integrative medicine, and cannabis medicine. He is deeply committed to a holistic approach, treating patients as whole beings deserving of comprehensive and compassionate care.
Dr. Xavier emphasises the importance of foundational health as the cornerstone of a thriving life. Currently, he specialises in supporting patients with cancer and chronic disease in Australia.
As the co-founder of Wildfire Spirit, Dr. Xavier advocates for family-centered health initiatives, believing that nurturing the well-being of families today is essential for fostering healthier future generations.
Katy Smith

As an FNTP and mother of two young spirited wildlings, Katy is passionate about helping families especially in the postpartum time thrive instead of survive. Deep nourishment, along with foundational pillars of health have the power to change the health of the mother. When we nourish the mother, we can nourish the whole family, and support the next generation.
Katy and her co-founder’s new offering, Wildfire Spirit is a not for profit aimed at community education and programs to achieve this mission.

Deanne Hislop

Deanne is a home educating, ancestral mumma, speaker, author and activist with nearly 30 years in environmental health, passionate about helping people connect with the space they live in and create environments that are evolutionarily aligned with the human body where we can find true health.
For the last decade she has worked predominantly under practitioner referrals assessing client’s exposures to mould and biotoxins, bacteria, allergens, chemicals, water contaminants, and nnEMF. Spending time in the homes of those with chronic health conditions has given her a unique perspective on how our homes and the spaces we live in impact our health and the steps we need to take to rectify them.
Georgia Mournehis

Georgia is a Stress Free Parenting Expert. After graduating as an FNTP in 2017, Georgia decided to combine her studies together with her mindset qualification in order to help families especially mothers live a more stress free life. She works closely with families to change the way they handle stress and anxiety through food and mindset. She provides assistance to guide families back to eating a whole food diet whilst taking into consideration each individual’s needs. She also works them through any stress or anxiety that’s stopping them from achieving their goals.
Georgia also works closely with post partum mothers and the challenges that that brings. Holistically supporting the mother by creating her village and assisting her both physically and mentally.
Victoria Allott

As a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Victoria taps into your body’s innate intelligence to identify the main stressors and nutrient deficiencies your body is experiencing, and find out “Why” these issues are appearing.
Victoria’s philosophy involves clean-eating, cooking meals from scratch, regular exercise, proper supplementation, adequate sleep and stress management. She has also been running classes teaching people how to bake gluten-free sourdough bread, make kombucha and dairy-free yoghurt.

Kevin Handreck

Kevin worked as a CSIRO scientist for 36 years. His research was involved initially with the nutrition of temperate and tropical crops in natural soils, and later with the properties and analysis of growing media used in nurseries, urban horticulture and gardens.
Kevin has written three books – ‘Growing Media’, ‘Gardening Down-under’ and ‘Good Gardens with Less Water’
Since CSIRO days, Kevin, 87, has provided consultancy services to various horticultural enterprises. For over 30 years he and wife Eleanor converted 33 hectares of degraded sheep pasture in the Adelaide Hills into native bush. Kevin is an avid learner and researcher, which led him to study with the NTA and deepen his functional nutrition and lifestyle knowledge which he now applies to both himself and Eleanor.
Richard Adams

Richard is a Functional Nutritionist who helps men over 40 reclaim their energy, physical and mental wellness by optimizing their nutrition, gut health and blood markers.
Having faced his own chronic health battle for 6 years, he understands the impacts that can stress can have on the body and in particular digestion. He now uses his personal experience and training to work with you 1 : 1 to understand your individual health concerns. He believes in long-lasting transformation rather than quick-fix diets and works alongside his clients to reshape their relationship with food and stress for lasting results.
